Kryptane® polyurethane is found in a wide variety of medical uses. Many wheels are customized for use on wheelchairs and physical therapy equipment. Kryptane Systems wheels can also be made with stainless steel hubs to withstand rigorous cleaning. Urethane springs can often eliminate several metal pieces. The material can be engineered to either return much of the energy or absorb and dissipate the energy of an impact. Additionally, urethane springs do not have the sudden shock at the end of travel like a steel spring experiences. Kryptane urethane is also used in areas where static dissipation is necessary to reduce static electricity build up. Kryptane Systems’ cost effective low volume production is well suited to serve your rapid development needs.

Kryptane Systems' Max Rack is a modular ski rack that bolts directly to the side of ski buses and vans. Constructed of brushed aluminum with a clear anodized finish and Kryptane Systems' toughest urethane, these popular ski racks positively grip each ski while allowing easy access. Max Racks are black and currently available in a 48 inch (8 pairs of skis) length. 5.125" holes accept all types and lengths of skis: including parabolic. Each pair of skis is held securely in place by a urethane spring that won't damage the skis. Replacement pads and springs are available.
